The Boca Juniors midfielder, at 32 years old, is now considering his future with the national team. He mentioned that several experienced players in the squad face significant decisions after the conclusion of another World Cup cycle.

Notably, his social media message did not include an apology or express regret for his involvement in the post-match confrontation.
