The club is reportedly nearing a deal for Diomande with Leipzig, with figures between 120-130 million, which would remove PSG from contention for the player.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is reportedly preparing a significant salary offer to attract Vinicius Junior. However, Mourinho, in his new role at Real Madrid, is said to be against his departure. Vinicius Junior himself is reportedly inclined to remain with Los Blancos and renew his contract.

A statistic on defensive contributions per 90 minutes lists Mbappe as the bottom-ranked player in La Liga at 0.2, with Vinicius Junior only eight places higher at an average of one contribution per game. This suggests that both players contribute minimally on defense.
An example of the team’s potential without Mbappe was a 3-0 victory in March against Manchester City, where Brahim Diaz took on the striker role. Diaz maintained positional discipline, pressured defenders, and created difficulties for the opposition. This allowed Federico Valverde to operate with more freedom across multiple positions, even rotating with Diaz at times.
Valverde provided an outlet on the wing, joined Diaz upfront, supported Trent Alexander-Arnold, and formed a back-five in defense.
